Upaya Social Ventures
Develop professional-looking stakeholder documents to tell Upaya's story and effectively engage new funding partners. These documents needed to be professionally designed and easily updatable by non-designers.
Challenge
Process
The Upaya team utilized the Google Business Suite for their day-to-day tasks. I began by creating their intro deck in Google Slides. I also developed a new set of icons, along with other assets, in Illustrator.
To create a dynamic, professionally designed case document, I started in InDesign and then exported it as a PDF to import it into Google Docs.
From there, I formatted the document so the rest of the team could easily update it with current data.
In 2021, Upaya helped create 24,490 new jobs in India. Their goal was to reach more funding partners, allowing them to bolster more entrepreneurs. The case document and intro deck helped them achieve this goal, creating a total of 50,000 jobs in 2022 and going on to create 114,000 jobs in 2025.
